LOVE is what makes it all work

Hello to all! I hope you had a wonderful week!

I just finished reading the book "Think and Grow Rich", and in it, I found a very powerful message, well there are many, but today I am going to talk about LOVE..

The phrase that struck me was something like this: "Love is what brings balance to our actions"

And when you think about it, it is absolutely right!

Think about it! If you are going to teach a class, and you add on top of it, that you are doing it with love, you transcend the teacher status into a higher realm..

If you are going to cook a meal, and you do it with love, it brings enjoyment to you and the people who are actually eating it.

If you are doing your job, and then on top of that you love what you do, then you are certainly going to raise above the rest...

On the other hand, if you are really good at what you do, but you don't love what you do, or perhaps do it because you HAVE TO, then although the end result might be OK, it will not have the added mystic that comes from things made with LOVE.

The final part, is that we can choose! We can choose to see all the things we don't like about what we do, and fall for that trap... or try to find those that actually makes us feel good, and bring the LOVE out!

That's this weekend's challenge!

Just in case you were wondering! I LOVE this blog!

Have a great end of the weekend and a greater week!

Until next time!

Do More!

Hello to all! I hope you had an awesome weekend, and I want to begin this week, by sharing with you my mantra, motto, or phrase (Whatever you want to call it) that has been with me this past month, and has work wonders for me...

Do More!

How about that?

Its short but it packs a lot of power and good things with it...

Our life has many different parts... Health, wealth, spirituality, work, home, sports, and I could go on and on, but the key here has been, that you can Do More! in all of those areas, little things, and as a whole they make a big difference...

For me it has been great, because I have seen the results... Which ones you might say?

Well, I was not particularly good at keeping my room in good order, well I Did More! and now my room is cleaner than ever, all I did was start hanging the clothes back on their hangers, and folding what needed to be folded... Guess what? I made my wife happier because there is no mess, I feel better looking at the room and knowing that is my creation, and the more I have done it, the easier it becomes... I guess the Lotus Code (Check the May 29th post) is also at play here...

I applied this Do More! I many other areas, like health, business, home, family...

My challenge for the week, is this: What are you going to Do More! On?

Don't delay, start today! Because the benefits are just waiting for you to act, so they can manifest!

Until next time!

D = V * t (Distancia es igual a Velocidad por tiempo)

The laws of physics apply to your dreams also!

Hello to all, I hope you are having a great week...

Recently I watched a training from Eric Worre, that inspired me to write about how I think the things he mentioned there apply to everything we do in our lives.

There is a well-known physics equation that states:

D = S * t (As in Distance equals, the Speed times the time)

If you think about the things you wish to accomplish in life, this law also applies.

The comparison would be:
Distance = Where to do want to go in your life, your dreams, what you wish to accomplish.

Speed = How much time are you investing today on a consistent basis to achieve them.

time = How long are you willing to try this for, in order for them to become a reality for you.

Once this is understood, I think we will get rid of one of humanity's major problems.... Lack of persistance!

If you know where you want to go, and you know how fast you are moving there, then you already know how long it will take you to get there, so you don't give up!

If you know where you want to go, and you know in how much time you expect to be there, then you will adjust your speed accordingly so you are not late!

Those three always go together, whether in a Physics 101 test or on the road to achievement, the key is knowing where you want to go first, and then is simpler to assess if you are being reasonable or not!

If you are aiming high, and are not willing to devote the time it requires, then those false expectations will lead to dissapointment.

To close, the usual questioning... Do you know where you want to go today?
When do you expect to get there? and Are you going fast enough?

For many, life seems to be always on the rush, we are like speeding on the highway, but if we don't know our destination, we might miss the exit!

Have a wonderful day!

Until next time!

If you hear the calling ACT!

Hello to all!! I have a quick question to you...

Have you ever been in a situation, that you just knew you needed to do something, and you didn't know why?

I am pretty sure you all have... think about those situations, for example when you gave alimony to a homeless person, or when you decide to help someone you don't know expecting nothing in return...

This topic was brought up by hearing a story of a family member who came across a person, who he just knew he had to do something about.

He helped the person, gave him clothing, a bath and a meal. The person he helped was absolutely grateful for his help and interestingly, the guy he helped said that this help he got today was perhaps the bump he needed to try to quit drugs and get his life back in shape.

How about that!!? Isn't that interesting? Well, think about the times when you have felt this urge to help, this need to act upon a hunch... you might be changing somebody's life forever.

Considering this story, the message I want to get across today, is that there is definitely a higher power that sometimes needs US, and we cannot neglect it.

Increase your awareness of these feelings and be ready just in case your number is called upon, and most importantly ACT.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Until next time!

The best tool to do the job

Hello to all! I hope everything is great!

A few weeks ago, I was installing a new faucet for the filtered water in my house, the job was very simple in theory, just fix the faucet to the sink, attach the connections, plug the hose, clamp it firmly, and you are done...

If you have ever done anything that requires tools, and even worse when water is involved, you know it is never that simple....

But before I continue I must say, that I did not have the right tools to do that simple job, all I had was a pair of pliers and the helping hand of my wife.

To make a long story short, I had to assemble and disassemble the whole deal four times because every time I let the water flow, it would flow all over the floor...
Then I realized that if I had started it with the right tools, none of that would have happened. So I controlled my ego for the night, and the next day I went to my parents and borrowed some wrenches, ratchet and different sized sockets. I went under the sink for the fifth time, and voilá!

That situation made me think about all the things we try to do in our lives without the right tools, and then wonder Why did we fail?!

Think about those things you want to acquire, accomplish or get rid off, and then think if you currently have the right tools to do so.

It might be a good book, a seminar, a system, a partner or gadget, that's really not important. Here is a list for the tools that I am currently using to accomplish my goals and dreams:

My tools are Network Marketing as the best system to accomplish many of my goals, but to be successful at it, I have to become better, and for that I use books, audio programs and mentors. To make things happen in a NM business you must have a team, and we have one of the best. Since I do it part-time I also need a schedule so I organize my time better.

And to finish my toolbox I have the greatest wife and family to support me.

With that, success is inevitable. I know I will find my toolbox lacking in the future, as they are never complete.

But how are YOU doing in this very important topic? Do your inventory, and off to the "hardware" store!

Have a wonderful day!

Until next time!

Sometimes you step, sometimes you are kicked out of your comfort zone

Hello to all, I hope you are having a wonderful week just as I am...

Today I want to share a story that happened last week...

I am currently working for a company in the finance business, a small company but one that has taught me a lot.

Since the financial crisis began, the directors of the company did everything they could to avoid letting us go.

It turns out that all they tried was not enough, and this past week they asked me to reduce significantly the number of hours I worked for them, with a respective reduction in payment... As you might know I am currently developing a network marketing business, so that help me take the news pretty calmly.

I have to admit that my assignments had been drastically reduced, and I ended up with free time during the day.

During this period I did not feel well, because I felt I was not being really productive during my day, but I was COMFORTABLE... And this is where today's post really comes to live. Even though I was stepping out of my comfort zone by developing a new business venture, I was comfortable getting my paycheck as well, so being asked to reduce my hours and salary meant I was kicked out of my comfort zone, and the great thing was, that the minute I got the news, my brain started working again to figure out how to make up for this loss... I was given a great opportunity, and a couple days later I already had my day full of new, more productive, more fun and more challeging things to do!

My comfort was keeping me off my best, and now I can tap into it again!

I hope that you get the "hidden" message from this post, but I will give you a hint: Are you being as productive as you can or you are being as productive as you are asked to be?

Big difference between the two!

Have a wonderful week!!

Federico Ruiz
